For specialist advisory and managed-services firms

Turn advisory recommendations into working systems.

I help specialist advisory and managed-services firms turn recommendations into practical technology—so their clients can act, and their experts can stay focused on expert work.

This is for

  • Risk, compliance, safety, quality, governance and operational advisory firms
  • Firms moving from one-off advice into ongoing or managed services
  • Teams whose clients need more than reports, templates and recommendations
  • Advisory firms that want implementation capability without building an internal technology team

When good advice gets stuck

You may recognise some of these situations:

  • You deliver a strong report, framework or recommendation—but the client still does not have a working system to put it into practice.
  • Your client asks, “Who is going to build this?” and you have to refer the implementation elsewhere or leave the work with them.
  • Technology is being discussed or promised before anyone has checked the client’s existing tools, data, workflows and technical constraints.
  • Everyone agrees that a system is needed, but nobody is clear about who owns the client relationship, process decisions, technical delivery or final sign-off.
  • A project starts small, then scope grows through informal requests and “quick additions” that affect the timeline, cost and quality.
  • The client buys or builds an over-engineered solution when a simpler configuration or workflow would have been enough.
  • The system is technically launched, but people continue using spreadsheets, email or legacy processes because the new way of working is unclear or impractical.
  • End users see the system for the first time at training or go-live, when changes are expensive and trust is already low.
  • Your specialists are pulled into system setup, troubleshooting and administration instead of doing the advisory work clients value.
  • The project is handed over with little documentation, no confident client-side owner and no support when real-world issues appear.
  • You can report that the system went live, but not whether the recommendation was adopted or produced an operational result.

These are not usually failures of expertise. They are gaps between advice, implementation, adoption and ownership. I help close that gap with a practical systems layer behind your advisory delivery.

What you get

A technical implementation assessment

I review the advisory scope, recommendations, client context, existing tools, workflows, data and constraints. I then define the smallest practical system that can produce the intended outcome—not a technology project for its own sake.

The output is a clear implementation charter covering: system requirements and workflow maps; platform and integration options; risks, dependencies and technical constraints; the recommended minimum viable implementation; delivery scope, responsibilities, timeline and indicative commercial terms; and the adoption, testing, handover and support approach.

End-to-end system implementation

I work with your team and, where useful, directly with your client to configure selected tools, build workflows and automations, migrate essential data, connect systems and create reporting.

Implementation is phased around real workflows and representative users. We test with the client before acceptance so problems are found while they are still inexpensive to change.

Training, adoption and handover

A system is not finished at go-live. I provide role-based training, plain-language documentation, recorded walkthroughs, client-admin enablement, launch support and a defined hypercare period.

Where useful, we establish client-side super-users or change champions so adoption continues after the engagement ends.

Ongoing technical support

After launch, I can provide technical support, improvements, reporting, troubleshooting, system reviews and extensions as the client’s needs change.

Why this matters

You can sell a more complete, higher-value service: not only the strategy and recommendations, but the working system that makes them real. That helps you:

  • Win work from firms that stop at reports and templates
  • Offer implementation without building an internal technology team
  • Give clients a clearer path from advice to action
  • Increase the value and stickiness of managed-service engagements
  • Keep specialists focused on advisory work, not system setup
  • Measure whether recommendations are being adopted and producing results

The business case is not “new software.” It is better workflows, clearer accountability, less administration and measurable operational improvement.

How the partnership works

The advisory firm leads the relationship

You remain the client’s relationship and advisory lead. You own the diagnosis, recommendations and context. I join where technical translation, implementation or support is needed.

I lead the systems layer

I assess feasibility, translate recommendations into requirements, design the implementation, configure or build the system, coordinate technical testing and document the result.

The client remains an active owner

The client approves process decisions, supplies subject-matter knowledge and data, involves representative end users, tests the system and accepts the agreed deliverables. This is essential for adoption and long-term ownership.

Responsibilities, decision rights, acceptance criteria, scope boundaries and escalation routes are agreed before implementation begins.

How it works
One-Time Projects

How it works

Share the client project

You provide the advisory scope, recommendations and client context. I make an initial technical assessment and we discuss the opportunity together.

Run discovery

We clarify the current workflow, desired outcome, users, data, existing technology, risks and readiness. We do not assume every recommendation should become a technology project.

Agree the implementation charter

I define the technical scope, minimum viable release, responsibilities, timeline, acceptance criteria, support model and commercial terms.

Implement and test

I deliver the agreed system with your team and the client: configuration, workflows, integrations, data preparation, reporting, user testing and refinements.

Launch, hand over and measure

I train users, document the system, support launch and review adoption and operational outcomes after go-live.

Pricing

Project-based. Scope, delivery plan and commercial terms are agreed after discovery—based on the client’s needs, technology environment, risks and how delivery is shared. Detailed technical commitments are not made from a referral or advisory recommendation alone.

Example project pricing

Starter technology implementation

— from €5,000

For one clearly defined workflow or process.

Includes:

  • Technical assessment and implementation plan
  • One platform or existing technology environment
  • One main workflow or automation
  • One standard integration
  • Basic reporting or dashboard
  • User testing
  • One training session
  • Documentation and two weeks of post-launch support

Typical timeline: 4–6 weeks, depending on client availability, feedback and approvals.

Multi-workflow implementation

— from €10,000

For a client that needs several connected workflows or a more complete technology system.

Includes:

  • Discovery and solution design
  • Two or three connected workflows
  • Up to two standard integrations
  • Data preparation or limited migration
  • User roles and permissions
  • Reporting dashboard
  • Testing with representative users
  • Admin and user training
  • Documentation and 30 days of post-launch support

Typical timeline: 8–12 weeks, depending on client participation, data readiness, testing and decision-making.

Additional integrations, complex data migration, custom development, portals, advanced permissions and ongoing support are scoped separately.

About me

I help advisory firms make their recommendations operational. My role is to turn a strategic plan into the workflows, systems, data and reporting that make it usable day to day. I work directly with consultants and their clients, so the technology supports the advisory work rather than creating more administration. Everything is delivered by me, with a practical focus on adoption, measurable outcomes and a handover the client can maintain.

FAQ

Do clients need to buy new software?

Not necessarily. I first assess their current tools and configure or connect what already works where possible.

Do you meet with our clients directly?

Yes. I work alongside your team and the client, with the communication model agreed at the start of the engagement.

Who owns the client relationship?

The advisory firm remains the relationship and advisory lead unless we agree otherwise in writing. I own the agreed systems delivery.

Can you work under our brand?

Yes, where appropriate. The working arrangement, client communications, confidentiality, attribution and responsibilities are agreed before delivery begins.

What happens if the client asks for more?

New requests are assessed for their impact on scope, cost, timeline and risk. We agree changes in writing before adding them to the delivery plan.

What happens after launch?

I can provide ongoing technical support, improvements, reporting and system reviews. The handover includes documentation, recorded walkthroughs and a named client-side owner where appropriate.

How do we know whether it worked?

We agree outcome measures during discovery—for example, reduced administration, faster reporting, higher completion rates, fewer workarounds, improved adoption or faster closure of corrective actions.
